Why KSPtabs?

* In the December 2021 issue of the AUA Journal, an independent study was done on over-the-counter alkali agents effect on urine pH and citrate excretion. “KSPtabs resulted in an increase in citrate (597 to 797 mg/day, p=0.037) and urine pH (6.46 to 6.86, p=0.037), with a non-significant decrease in ammonium (41 to 34 mmol/day, p=0.059).” Study Link

* Study participants were chosen out of a population of patients from a Urology practice in Austin, Texas who was known to have a history of kidney stones. A 24-hour urine collection was tested through Litholink LabCorp before and after patients consumed KSPtabs over a three-week period (approximately three tabs daily).   • K Citrate:

    Citrate is a potent inhibitor of urinary crystal formation. Adding additional Citrate to the diet has been shown to support a normal urinary pH and reduce calcium crystal saturation or in real-world terms, kidney stones. (5 mEq)

  • Magnesium Citrate:

    Magnesium has also demonstrated benefits in maintaining healthy urine parameters by binding to oxalate in the urine. (5 mEq)

  • Vitamin B6:

    The B6 used in our product is Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate Monohydrate; which is a well-absorbed form of B6. Having a good dietary intake of B6 is very important to overall wellness and has demonstrated benefits in maintaining healthy urine parameters. B6 may help lower oxalate levels in the urine.

  • Bicarb:
